About the oswego county democratic committee
Vision Statement
Oswego County Democrats work toward an Oswego County that will be at the top of every “Best Places to Live” list:
Where everyone who is seeking a good job can find one in the County’s diverse economic sectors including agricultural, education, technical, and industrial
Where everyone has access to quality health care, including mental health care, at an affordable cost
Where every person is accepted and treated equally regardless of ethnicity, race, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation
Where every child is cared for and protected
Where every student can get a quality public education that will prepare them for life and a post high school trade or college education that will not leave them with massive debt
Where our senior citizens have the support they need to maintain a happy and healthy life in their community
Where our bountiful natural resources are protected, providing rich experiences for our citizens and attracting tourists to help support the economy
Where justice is administered fairly and promptly, with an emphasis on rehabilitation
Where our elected representatives operate in a transparent and ethical manner, putting the needs of the community before personal or political goals
Mission Statement
The mission of the Oswego County Democratic Party is to recruit and elect officeholders who support the values of the Democratic Party: equality before the law, stewardship of our environment to preserve it for your children and future generations, economic opportunity and security for citizens of all ages, equal justice for all, a safe and secure environment for everyone, and the responsibility of citizens to do their fair share.
